I love grilling in the summer (or all year round for that matter). I eat a lot of fish so I am always looking for fish dishes that are grill-friendly along with a great bottle of wine. One of my favorite fish to grill is salmon. I often grill it on a cedar plank with some fresh herbs and spices along with a little squeeze of lemon.
When it comes to pairing wine with salmon, an earthy Pinot Noir can’t be beat. One Pinot I recommend is Chehelam 3 Vineyard Pinot Noir from Oregon. Silky with tastes of cherries, cloves, and red berries along with plenty of acidity to cut the fat in the salmon. So head out to the backyard, fire up the grill, and enjoy a great meal! (A-, $20)
