This Thursday, June 21st, is officially Sauvignon Blanc Day so I thought it would be great to feature Sauvignon Blancs all week on Wine and Good Food. Sauvignon Blanc is a nice warm weather wine and there some dynamic bottles out there at all price points. We are starting off the week with a bottle from Los Vascos. A nice wine for the price, especially if you enjoy a sweeter Sauvignon Blanc.

Now th Fun Part- Tasting the Wine
Los Vascos pours a pale greenish-gold in the glass. The nose has aromas of sweet melon and lemon. Flavors of tart citrus, peach, and herbs fill the palate of this refreshing wine. The finish is crisp and sweet. Easy sipping and easy on the wallet!
My Wine Rating- B
Food Pairing Suggestions- Pair this wine with a teriyaki tofu bowl, grilled shrimp, or an apple and chicken salad.
