Unique and Full of Intense Flavors- Bodega El Angosto La Tribu 2010

Wine Chateau kindly sent me a bottle of Bodega El Angosto La Tribu 2010.  I loved the wine at first sip.  It is perfectly priced for everyday drinking but tasty enough to drink on a Saturday.  Plus, it is a great wine from summer grilling!

About the Wine- From the Winery

Bodega El Angosto La Tribu 2010 is a blend of Monastrell, Syrah, and Garnacha from the Valencia region of Spain.  It has 13.5% alcohol and retails for $9.97 at www.winechateau.com.

Now the Fun Part- Tasting the Wine

This blend pours a deep, blackish-plum color in the glass.  The nose has interesting aromas of anise, dark berries, and spice.  The palate is rich and silky.  Flavors of licorice mingle with plum and dark berries.  Balanced acidity and structured tannins.  Unique and full of intense flavors!

My Wine Rating- B+

Food Pairing Suggestions- Pair with grilled steaks, venison, or a portabella mushroom burger.
